Artwork - ALL > Installation

This installation is made of an antique slip-dress stuffed with tumbleweed. It rotates with the currents. Tumbleweed is sharp and full of prickly thorns. There is one room light, down through the center of the "woman/dress" which exposes the interior, creating a circulatory system-like appearance. A representation of our society's continued acceptance of violence against woman, this installation addresses the fragility, yet continued perserverance of woman who struggle to create an intelligient world where woman are safe.
